Tagaytay and Enchanted Kingdom

Our original plan was to go to Tagaytay and Enchanted Kingdom the day after. It was raining all night and on the 2nd day itself, so we backed off and opted to do it  on the 3rd day (Sunday, Sept 16) instead. Our second day was then spent at MOA and Greenhills Shopping Center.

We were so lucky to rent a van with a reasonable price  good  for the entire day. We only paid P3,500 for the entire trip (excluding meal for the driver plus toll and parking fee).  We only paid P370 each for our transportation that day. The amount is so worth it, it's a perfect escape from the hassle of commuting.

Been to Tagaytay once many years ago but we were in a hurry and it was more of a joy ride. All I can remember is that the place has a very cold atmosphere. I know Mt. Taal is the main attraction there but still I got excited to view it again.

A view as breath taking as these pictures below is definitely a sight to behold. Foggy ambiance, breezy place, and good company, oh man that's divine.

Now on to satisfy the kid in us,  Enchanted Kingdom here we come.

This is my 3rd Enchanted Kingdom experience but still I joined the gang in enjoying most of the rides. We screamed like there's no tomorrow but we had fun. Who doesn't?

We were also entertained with these talented performers impersonating World Class icons, treating us with good music. Just a 30 minute show and it revealed Pinoy's world class talents. Impressive.

The laugh, the experience and the fun shared with your friends is beyond limit. This is one of the moments that could never ever be bought by millions. I'm just so blessed and lucky to have friends who shared my interest in traveling.  I'm so looking forward to our next travel. Several days from now we'll rock the island of Boracay. Yebbah!!!

Manila Trip Day 1

Been to Manila countless times but it was never with a group this large. Originally we were 14 but only 11 made it to the trip,  3 others didn't go with us due to some circumstances beyond control.
We left CDO last Sept 14 at around 6am, arrived Manila 20 minutes after 7am. Upon landing,  we headed straight to GAD center in Intramuros (it's where we stayed).
After settling our things and a quick rest, we went straight to Sto Domingo Church.

We had lunch at Robinson's Manila, did a little shopping and treated ourselves at Iceberg.

We secretly bought cake for our 2 celebrants that day, Ching and Arah. Aren't they the cutest? Seeing them both  happy and surprised with our cake is undeniably priceless.

Half of the group haven't been to Ocean Park, so we decided to go there and let them enter those giant aquariums with variety of fishes.

For us who had been to Oceanarium, we opted to have fish spa while waiting for the rest.

Before we wrapped the day up, we ended it with a sumptous dinner at Gerry's Grill still at Manila Ocean Park. The waiters sang a jolly happy birthday song for our lovely celebrants plus a candle on top of their yummy leche plan.
Behind those tired-looking smiles  is happiness. It's always been comforting to find time to relax from work.

More on this trip in my next post.
